2010

Gumotrade commenced its operations in Germany, focusing on wire harness assembly for the automotive industry.

2012

Lithutec was founded in Klaipėda, Lithuania. Since its establishment, Lithutec has been committed to ensuring reliable and high-quality electrotechnical production tailored to customer needs. The company’s journey began in a small production facility with manual component soldering for the automotive industry, but consistent growth, employee professionalism, and investments in production capacity allowed it to become a trusted partner.

2013

Gumotrade was restructured and renamed to PIT Deutschland, thereby strengthening its position in the market. A customer consultation office was established in Germany to enhance client support and communication.

During the same year, Lithutec was integrated into the PIT Deutschland Group, broadening the company’s production capabilities and technological expertise.

The company standardized its quality management system according to the ISO 9001:2008 standard, thereby confirming compliance with international quality requirements. At the same time, growth was accelerated by initiating direct client acquisition activities, attracting customers from other industries, and starting cable harness processing and production.

Due to decreasing order volumes from the automotive industry caused by automation, Lithutec diversified its activities into the renewable energy subsector and other industrial sectors. As a result, the workforce temporarily decreased.

Driven by a rapidly increasing number of orders, Lithutec expanded its production capacity.

Expansion of business sectors – energy and automotive. A new department was opened, launching the production of electrical distribution and control cabinets, panel assembly, and wire harness installation. This step opened new opportunities for Lithutec and marked the beginning of a new stage in its development.

Lithutec expanded its portfolio by starting the production of perimeter video surveillance equipment, entering the security industry.

PIT Deutschland GmbH – based in Germany, has been part of the UL Wiring Harness Traceability Program since 2024. This enrollment ensures full compliance while helping to minimize liability and risk throughout the entire supply chain.

UAB Lithutec – production site located in Lithuania, is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of quality and environmental management. The company has been ISO 9001 certified since 2015 and ISO 14001 certified since 2018.
